The Niagara Foundation was established in 1962, to promote and protect architectural heritage in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. They do important and exciting work, but their logo – a heraldic crest dating back to the early 1960s – felt dated. We felt that a new corporate identity should make reference to the past (the region’s rich architectural heritage) – but at the same time convey a contemporary visual sophistication and design awareness.
